People shouldn’t be making pornographic contents of children’s shows at all. Like at all. I remember when I was younger and into ATLA, and sometimes I would scroll through the tags on tumblr and I would always see explicit pornographic drawings of the characters, it’s disgusting and yes older men shouldn’t hijack shows created for children and sexualise them, but neither should any of the adults consuming shows specifically made for children.

What makes it worse is that most of the pornographic content would be of extremely young characters, like Katara, Toph, Sokka and Zuko… We know the ages these characters are supposed to be and adults, regardless of gender, within the fandom saw fit to draw extremely graphic content of them. I actually remember deciding to not go through any of the ATLA tags bcs it was really that bad.

I think whilst people like Bronies and Gemtlemen are literal trash, I don’t think it’s right to ignore the issues that occur with adults in a fandom in general. I saw a post saying that pornographic contents of children’s show isn’t the problem, it’s that it’s not properly concealed. For me, pornographic contents of children’s show *is* an inherent problem and is something that shouldn’t be seen as “okay as long as it’s tagged”… There are so many adult shows with that type of content readily available for adults.

It’s honestly really really disgusting to go to a children’s show, take these young characters, sexualise them and make pornographic art of them. It’s really really really bad. Whether or not you attempt to hide them or not, you should really ask yourself as an adult what you gain from sexualising young characters/characters specifically made from children.
