AU where Midna and Impa both have feelings for Zelda so they somehow end up kind of competing for her attention. and they dislike each other and are always trying to show each other up but then in spending so much time together when they’re with Zelda, they kind of accidentally start begrudgingly liking each other. Then that turns into liking each other. and it’s like. Oh. Okay. It’s weird and complicated but eventually Zelda’s like, “you’re both my girlfriends. and I know you like each other even if you won’t admit it, so we can work this out if you’re willing to.”
