This isn’t a problem with Islam, it’s a problem with homophobes. The media and politicians who are using Islam as a scapegoat are only doing it because of islamophobia, not because they actually care about LGBT people. We can’t forget that LGBT Muslims exist. We can’t forget that homophobia doesn’t have a religion.
