When I first saw this panel

my gut reaction was that Pharah was on a date. (But not with Mercy?? *gasp*)

Then, I started to piece this together. What if this isn’t a date? The man in the panel looks much older than Pharah, in fact, old enough to be her dad. They’re sitting in a restaurant, it’s snowing outside, and there’s Canadian hockey on TV. I bring this up because it’s actually very important to the theory. Based on these clues, they’re probably in Canada. 

Why does this matter? Well, here’s my second piece of evidence:

Pharah’s Thunderbird and Raindancer skins. If Pharah were half Canadian First Nations from her dad’s side these skins would 1. make a lot more sense character wise and 2. be waaaaay less problematic, as these skins (understandably) caused a bit of an uproar when they were first released.

So there’s my two cents. I think Pharah is half First Nations, half Egyptian, and that her dad is still in the picture (whoaa).
