really tho, i think that people focus too much on the Vaguely Medieval Setting and forget all the actually interesting and cool things about the loz universe.
like they have GIANT ROBOTS and MAGIC and stuff but yall wanna write about them being Dirty and Classist like….. whatever…
i also find that this is the reason for a lot of authors writing in fanfics that “zelda cant be queen until she’s married” or “they dont want zelda to be queen bc shes a girl” shit like
hyrule’s established deities are all explicitly female if not gender neutral and you think people in hyrule would be misogynistic???? miss me with that shit god
