Also, it doesn’t hurt the bees, they literally make more of the stuff than they can use, and it helps support the beekeepers who are dedicated to keeping bees alive. No one’s keeping those bees captive either. I mean to make honey they gotta fly out and find flowers and stuff. They could easily make a new hive somewhere else. They stay because it’s a good home for them.
