HOMESICK IS MY FAVORITE CHAPTER OF MAGIC STORY EVER….
IT REALLY HAD EVERYTHING:
- the gatewatch all living together in jaces house
- liliana being a terrible older sibling figure
- the rooftop garden scene with chandra being embarrassing and not knowing how to talk to her crush
- jace, a grown man, getting told by his secretary to eat his broccoli and then immediately gets asked by dovin baan if he was bullied as a child
- liliana rearranges jaces bookshelves just to mess with him
- gideon likes to be shirtless
- nissa’s elemental smashing gideon into the dirt like a whack-a-mole game
- chandra accidentally setting a sandbag on fire in jaces house and then building a sand castle after pouring water on it
- did i mention the rooftop garden scene
this post crossed my dash again so im going to share some things from Homesick that i failed to mention the first time

- lavinia building a literal maze with stacks of paper in jaces office
- chandra telling dovin baan to go fuck himself
- chandra tripping and falling flat on her face when she tries to talk to nissa
