You do realize Bernie Sanders is rich right? I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but the post makes it sound like he’s not.
So I saw something on twitter today.
Sanders’ wealth pales in comparison to Bloomberg, not to mention the Clintons, Weinstein and Trump.
And unlike most politicians, Bernie Sanders is actually trying to significantly RAISE the taxes he would pay on his recent wealth. He started doing that before he became a millionaire, and he hasn’t ever stopped. And bonus, he doesn’t kiss up to, or try to ingratiate himself with the super rich.
Nobody is saying Sanders isn’t wealthy. We’re saying that one of these things is not like the others. Wayyy not like the others.
Trying to lump Sanders in with these others is misleading and a grotesque false equivalence. Try again.
