I can finally show that I made the cosplay trophies for the Wizards of the Coast MagicCon Chicago event! I will be making more of their trophies in the future and I really enjoy doing it! They look so clean!!!

I have this headcanon that Jace starts to resemble Kallist more as he gets older - when he looks at himself in the mirror, he’ll sometimes remember of days past.

I want to be clear, the porcelain plating is completely stolen. Technically there’s a little compleated Grist inside this, but the whole exoskeleton is either stolen, scavenged, or absorbed from some poor centurion who fell prey to the Hunger Tide.

Here’s my vision:

I think she’s better suited to the creative energy of the forge, but her metal would be a lot brighter and more burnished than your typical red phyrexian. Also, some filagree for flavor!

For some reason I’m never quite satisfied with my izzet designs, I might have to have another go at her and Ral.

Although a horned owl would be pretty on the nose, I already drew one of those and I think Ashiok would rather have their own brand, as opposed to just mimicking Maha. Soooo I went with a snowy owl, for that pale/silent/fucking terrifying in its attack posture energy.
