okay so. headcanon: i noticed that the paraglider has the same design on it as the painting on revali’s landing and i was like.. gosh.. what if.. revali made the paraglider as a gift to apologize to link.. for making fun of him bc he cant fly.. so then with the paraglider he COULD fly.. and maybe revali did get a chance to give it to him and apologize before they died but like it just ended up Somewhere after ganon appeared.. i mean like,, how old man rhoam gets his hands on it later is like /shrug/ whatever the fuck i mean hes a ghost and he still eats so yeah whatever.. revali.. no offense but anyone who ever calls botw zelda a bitch can actually fuck off forever like. she was only 6 years old when her mother died. and from 7 years old onwards her father forced her to pray and train and devote herself to the goddess thinking that it would awaken her power but NOTHING FUCKING WORKED EVER because when zeldas mother died she lost not only her mom but the ONLY person who could have taught her to awaken and use that power. and so she did this intense training and praying for 10 years with no results. so intense that she once passed out in freezing cold water while praying. and all this time her father has been outright telling her that she is a failure and an “heir to a throne of nothing but failure” when her inability to awaken her power was NEVER her fault in any way. additionally, she is extremely passionate about researching the ancient sheikah technology and its the only thing that makes her happy and makes her feel accomplished, but her father forbids her from pursuing her passion and tells her that its distracting her from her training. and so she grows up believing that she is a failure and that its her fault, begging the goddess to know “whats wrong with me?”. she has this terrible inferiority complex to all of the champions, ESPECIALLY LINK. and takes her anger out on him because it frustrates her to no end that he was able to draw the master sword and access its power effortlessly when she had trained for 10 years with no results. her emotional outburst at him was 100% reasonable. and she felt bad about lashing out at him and hating him, but later grew to truly love him. she never learned how to deal with her emotions and ended up having all this pent-up anger and frustration. so like. zeldas not a bitch okay. its just really fucking difficult to go through that kind of emotional trauma and abuse and end up alright. and id even go as far as to say that she has depression. like. its not normal in any way for someone to think of themselves like that unless they have a mental illness that affects their emotions and self-image like depression does

botw link was implied to be a happy, popular, and normal boy with a family who looked up to his father and wanted to be a knight like his dad. and it JUST HAPPENED that he was able to pull this magic sword and suddenly he’s this incredible perfect hero. and the feeling of so many people watching him and judging him and telling him “youre the hero and youre going to save hyrule” confuses him and causes him so much anxiety that it causes him to become mute. and then hes part of this team of champions and one of them is an asshole and hates him so much for having the master sword but link never wanted it in the first place. and then it becomes his job to follow around the princess but she hates him too and he doesnt understand why. and eventually he and the princess become friends and she loves him. but he fucking DIES protecting her. and then he gets resurrected but HAS AMNESIA. and just wakes up 100 years later in a world where everyone is a stranger to him and he has no memories of his friends and loved ones. and from the moment he woke up, all he was told was the exact same thing that he heard from everyone before he died: that he’s the hero and he has to save hyrule. and its implied that he cant fully recover his memory so then he’s a shell of his former self stuck saving this ruined world. like he only ever did what people wanted him to but he still suffered so FUCKING MUCH and for nothing
