when i was 14 i went to a local trans youth therapy group and there were like 5 other kids there and they were all trans guys too and there was only 1 other boy there who wasnt white but anyway there was this little white boy named kyler or skyler or tyler or whatever and he was telling us about how his parents were super supportive and took him to meetup events for trans guys and their families and did fundraisers for him and stuff and then he told us about how he thought his online trans guy friend was stupid for being suicidal because his parents were transphobic. that was like, really wack

actually my toxic trait is that the animation is my favorite version of MDZS and most fans complain that its the worst version because it’s the least shippy and focuses more on the plot but that’s why i like it–
im so upset rn why were we robbed of the timeline where gideon survives war of the spark and he and liliana end up separated from the rest of the cast for a while (because hes the only person who doesnt want her dead lol) and have a lot of time to Talk To Each Other and Do Some Thinking
theyre almost complete opposites, but they’ve got some similarities, and i think the compare/contrast would have created some really good character development opportunities. (which we totally needed more of from dominaria)
gideon and liliana both have this thing where they feel the need to appear invincible and in control to others– gideon does it because he needs to convince others that everything will be ok, and liliana does it to convince others that /she’s/ ok. but they both can see through each other’s acts, which allows them to actually be honest and talk about their problems as people.
liliana teaches gideon to actually have some self worth and stop throwing himself into danger. his life is worth living! everyone has regrets, so why should he value his life any less because of his? what good is a dead hero? doesnt he think he deserves to enjoy any of the peace he’s fought for? how selfish of him to be willing to die for her.
and gideon’s patience and immunity to her manipulation allowed her to be vulnerable with him on dominaria. there are people who care about her and they’d help her if she’d just ask! it’s okay to be vulnerable. sincerity would go a long way to help her. people may even forgive her. he does. and he knows she’s capable of doing the right thing. everyone else wants her dead but he won’t let that happen.
anyway idk. why did he have to die for her. it doesnt make any sense. why didnt we get a story about both of them learning that they can be forgiven and deserve to live. we were fucking robbed.
i had a dream that i was the tall handsome prince of an idyllic seaside kingdom and i found out through eavesdropping that my father the king had died of illness and that i was set to be crowned the next day so to avoid my responsibilities as the new king i gathered up my best friends and sailed to a far away island for vacation but what i didnt know is that a peasant boy (who was wearing a puffy white shirt with the buttons undone so his chest was showing) who i knew but wasnt really friends with sneaked onto the ship and was a stowaway trying to follow me because he was secretly in love with me the whole time and then when me and my friends were swimming on the beach at that vacation island he jumped into the water to have fun with us but then we all immediately found out he didnt know how to swim so i saved him from drowning and it was like really gay and like basically 😳😳
smh i guess jace could live with vraska now but like idk, i dont think he’d be comfortable with all her trophies alkdhfldsk

me: they never told greg weisman that jace beleren does not actually live inside the chamber of the guildpact, so in the book he interpreted the building as “embassy of the guildpact” (which isnt and has never been a thing) being the name of the whole building and the part where guild members meet, and the “chamber of the guildpact” being jace’s home, within. the chamber of the guildpact is in fact the name of the entire building, and jace’s home is somewhere else in the tenth district, connected to the chamber of the guildpact by secret tunnels only he and lavinia know about. it is also impossible for jace’s home to be inside the chamber of the guildpact due to the fact that it has a rather large rooftop garden courtyard overflowing with plants, something that the dome-shaped roof of the chamber of the guildpact obviously does not possess. in the war of the spark novel it’s written that jace’s library got sliced in half by the opening of the planar portal, but that wouldnt have happened because jace’s library and home are not inside the chamber of the guildpact. nobody corrected this error, though, so jaces home is now destroyed for basically no reason
