Speaking of Professor Onyx being mommy, I firmly believe in the theory that Liliana was Killian Lu’s mom.
In the story “The Chains That Bind”, Dina unknowingly finds Liliana’s old journal, in which she recorded her attemps to find ways to resurrect her brother when she was a student at Strixhaven.
Killian tells Dina that his mother died when he was very young. But I don’t think she died. I think she planeswalked. 🤨
Why does Liliana have a framed picture of Killian’s dad in her office?
Why does Liliana pay special attention to Killian appearing? Why do Liliana and Embrose speak to each other that way? Why does Liliana have such a strong emotional reaction to Killian’s messed up relationship with his dad? There’s something there.
And you may be thinking, “Killian is only a sophomore in college, wouldn’t Liliana have attended Strixhaven long before he was born?” No, actually.
